SCOUT REVIEW
Zalanta at the Village in Heavenly is one of South Lake Tahoe’s most luxurious accommodation options, designed for travelers who want both the comforts of home and the convenience of ski-in-ski-near access. The property features elegant, modern condos ranging from one to four bedrooms, each equipped with full kitchens, gas fireplaces, and private balconies. The finishes are top-notch—think granite countertops, premium bedding, and sleek alpine décor that feels both cozy and refined.
What sets Zalanta apart is its unbeatable location. It’s just across from the Heavenly Gondola, meaning you can stroll to the slopes in your ski boots, return for lunch in your condo, and be back on the mountain in minutes. After skiing or snowboarding, the outdoor heated pool and twin hot tubs are a welcome reward. Guests also love the hotel’s attentive concierge team, who can arrange lift tickets, restaurant reservations, or even grocery delivery before you arrive.
While Zalanta doesn’t have its own restaurant or bar, Heavenly Village is right outside your door with a wide range of dining and après-ski options. Families and groups especially appreciate the spacious layouts and in-room amenities, while couples enjoy the privacy and upscale feel. With its modern mountain luxury and prime location, Zalanta is arguably the best high-end stay in Heavenly for those who want both space and style.

About Heavenly
Heavenly Mountain Resort is ginormous – a whopping 4800ac (1943ha) makes it the biggest ski area in California. In keeping with the terrain, the party scene is equally as big - a ski holiday here might be the type where you need to take a holiday afterwards to recover. But families shouldn’t be afraid of coming here either. The mountain is certainly big and diverse enough for everyone to enjoy.
