SCOUT REVIEW
Yu Kiroro is one of Hokkaido’s most elegant ski accommodation options, offering a refined alpine experience right at the base of the Kiroro Ski Resort. The property blends Japanese design sensibilities with international luxury, delivering the perfect balance of comfort, privacy, and convenience.
Each unit at Yu Kiroro is a fully equipped apartment—ranging from studios to four-bedroom residences—making it an excellent choice for families, groups, or anyone planning an extended stay. The interiors are modern and warm, with high-quality furnishings, full kitchens, washing machines, and spacious living areas. Many rooms feature panoramic views of snow-covered mountains or the surrounding forests, adding to that cozy “Hokkaido winter” feel.
The highlight for most guests is the ski-in ski-out location—step outside and you’re literally on the slopes. A dedicated ski valet and heated lockers make mornings seamless. After a day in Kiroro’s famously deep powder, unwind in the onsen, sauna, or fitness center. Service is polished and multilingual, catering well to international travelers who want a worry-free ski holiday.
Dining options within Yu Kiroro are somewhat limited, but the main Kiroro Resort area is nearby with several restaurants and bars. For those who prefer to cook, the kitchen facilities and dining areas make self-catering easy and comfortable.
In short, Yu Kiroro brings together the convenience of home with the luxury of a top-tier ski resort stay—making it a standout choice in Hokkaido’s growing ski scene.
