Yama no Oto is a luxurious ski chalet built in the heart of Furano's Kitanomine village with modern facilities and styling throughout. The property can be booked as one single unit which can accommodate 10 guests, or can be split into two separate apartments (one two-bed and one three-bed). Yama no Oto means 'the sound of the mountain' and this really is the place to soak up the atmosphere of the serene mountain landscape.
Yama no Oto can be your home away from home while skiing in Furano, with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and chic bedrooms and bathrooms. The property boasts large picture windows throughout so as to bring the beauty of outside in, and there are balconies and terraces to make the most of the view. Yama no Oto features contemporary furnishings throughout, free WiFi, plush linens and towels and a large flatscreen TV. It also includes two indoor car parking spaces, a wood-burner, in-house laundry facilities (with detergent) and complimentary toiletries. The bedding varies between units, with either a queen and two single bed arrangement or two queen beds and two single beds. These units are perfect for families and groups.
Situated just five minutes from the main Kitanomine Gondola and resort facilities, Yama no Oto has an ideal central location. Local restaurants and bare are on your doorstep and there are plenty of bus stops within walking distance.

About Furano
Furano is up there with the best when it comes to ski resorts in Japan. Offering a wide variety of terrain, lots of powder, a good selection of accommodation and a relatively authentic village and nearby town, it has something for everyone and will suit a range of tastes and budgets.
