SCOUT REVIEW
The Setsumon, Niseko is a stylish apartment-style property that perfectly blends the independence of self-catering with the ease of a central Hirafu Village location. Just a short stroll from the Ace Family Lift, it’s an ideal base for ski lovers who want immediate access to Niseko’s famous powder without giving up village life.
Inside, the apartments range from studios to luxurious three-bedroom penthouses, each designed with a clean, modern aesthetic. Expect warm wood accents, open-plan living spaces, and plenty of natural light. Most feature full kitchens, washer/dryers, and private balconies—making them a smart choice for longer stays or families. Many units also boast spectacular views of Mt. Yotei, a sight that never gets old whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or a glass of wine after skiing.
While The Setsumon doesn’t have a restaurant or on-site spa, guests are surrounded by Niseko’s vibrant dining scene, with everything from cozy izakayas to fine dining just steps away. Skiers will also appreciate the proximity to gear rental shops, ski schools, and shuttle stops for exploring other Niseko United resorts.
Clean, well-maintained, and offering great value, The Setsumon remains a go-to for independent travelers who want space, comfort, and convenience in equal measure.
