SCOUT REVIEW
The Pines Lodge, a RockResort property, is a hidden gem in Beaver Creek — understated yet luxurious, and ideal for travelers who value a refined mountain retreat. With its intimate size and ski-in ski-out location just above the village, The Pines offers one of the best combinations of comfort, convenience, and quiet in Beaver Creek.
Inside, the atmosphere is cozy and classic, with a blend of rustic mountain charm and contemporary touches. The lobby’s stone fireplace sets the tone for a stay that feels both warm and upscale. Rooms and suites are spacious, many featuring balconies with sweeping views of the valley or slopes. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable, with plush bedding and subtle alpine accents that nod to the Colorado setting.
The on-site Grouse Mountain Grill is a major highlight — a fine-dining favorite known for its locally inspired cuisine and excellent wine list. After a day on the slopes, guests can unwind in the outdoor heated pool or hot tub overlooking the forested valley below.
While The Pines Lodge doesn’t have the buzz of larger resorts, it makes up for it in personalized service and a peaceful ambiance. Skiers love the direct access to the slopes via the Elkhorn Lift, and for non-skiers, the lodge offers easy access to snowshoeing trails and the charming Beaver Creek Village just a short walk or shuttle ride away.
