Scout loves
- Due to the fact these apartments were built around 35 years ago, they’re bigger than some of the more recent developments.
- The hot tub area – which, is lit up by fairy lights and surrounded by snow, can only be described as ‘magical’.
- Many of the ground floor condos are ski-in ski-out.
- There is a daily housekeeping service, and there are also washers, dryers and wood-burning fireplaces in every condo.
- Huge ski lockers to fit everyones ski, boots, and poles.
Scout tips
- The complex is comprised entirely of two to four bedroom condominiums.
- You’ll need to haul your gear up some stairs before reaching the elevators. However there’s usually someone on hand to help.
- Each condo is individually owned and furnished according to the owner’s tastes.
- The property is about 100m from the Elk Camp Gondola, and the hotel operates a free on-demand shuttle if needed.
SCOUT REVIEW
The Enclave a fantastic option if you don’t mind foregoing some of the 5 star luxuries of the neighboring (and, more expensive) hotels. The condos are super spacious compared to newer complexes, comfortable, and really great value, especially for families and larger groups.
Everything you need for a week’s vacation (or longer) is provided – including washing machines and clothes dryers. Plus they’re tastefully decorated with high ceilings and lofts in some, and wood paneling and stone finishes complement the property’s hillside location. The wood-burning fireplaces are a nice touch, and will make you feel like you’ve truly escaped to the mountains. Condos range from two to four bedrooms in size, and are available in three ratings: Standard, Preferred, and Exceptional. Each level differs in relation to decor and furnishings, with the latter featuring upgraded kitchens, bathrooms, and appliances. All condos are equipped with full kitchens for convenience, high-speed internet, and many boast panoramic mountain views. All are individually owned and uniquely decorated, and bedding may differ between condos.
Scout can book individual units at Enclave via a number of suppliers which means you know which exact unit you're staying in before you arrive. Our goal is to find the best unit to meet your needs.
What’s more, many of the condos have fantastic views of the slopes around Snowmass Village and the valley, while those facing uphill get great views of the upper mountains. Getting to the slopes each day is as easy as walking out the side gate and schussing down to the Elk Camp Gondola or Village Express Lift. And at the end of the day there are plenty of paths that will lead you back home. The complex also offers an on-demand shuttle to get you to and from the main Snowmass Village. The condo complex features wonderful landscaping and outdoor heated pool and hot tub, which is particularly magical of an evening with the fairy lights twinkiling away.
All in all, the Enclave at Snowmass is a great value option – providing everything you need, and nothing you don’t. Families will love the convenience of its slopeside location, and on-demand shuttle.

The resort is best known for its glitz and glamour, and while that’s true, there’s certainly a part of the town’s personality that is down-to-earth and relaxed. This is probably the result of its mining heritage combined with a resort offering some of the country’s best ski terrain and fabulous powder. Whether you're a family looking for your next memorable ski vacation, and avid powderhound, or a hopeless romantic in search of a classic ski-to-après experience, Aspen ticks all the boxes for everyone - there's a reason Scout always goes back to Aspen to ski!
