SCOUT REVIEW
The Chalets at Country Resort is an excellent choice for families or groups of friends who want a private house in Niseko without a hefty price tag. Thanks to its location (which is only a 5-7 minute drive from the lifts) the houses tend to be great value when compared to those located right in Hirafu.
The Chalets at Country Resort are simple and not overly luxurious, yet comfortable and spacious. Built between 2006-09 they range in size including two, three, four and five bedrooms. Some homes have a “premium” label that means they have better furnishings, finishes and higher ceilings. All of the chalets have been furnished by their owners which results in each one having a slightly different style. However this doesn’t tend to vary wildly with most sticking to fairly simple colour schemes and furnishings.
The bedding also varies with some having extra sofa-beds, and various combinations of double and singles so be sure to specify your needs. Each house has a full kitchen, dining and living area, plus a washer/dryer.
Who should stay here
The Chalets at Country Resort in Niseko are perfect for families or groups of friends that want space, peace and quiet and don’t mind (or would prefer) being a little separate from the Hirafu action.
