SCOUT REVIEW
Powder Tracks is a stone’s throw from all the action in Niseko. It’s situated in the heart of Upper Hirafu which means all the village’s restaurants and bars are close by, and the slopes are within easy walking distance.
Convenience is the main upside here; the downside being the size of the apartments, which can best be described as ‘petite’. While the studios and the one bedroom apartments would be perfectly fine for couples, the two and three bedroom apartments (between 66-76sqm) would only really be suitable for families – it’d be a little too familiar if you were travelling with several couples. Another reason for this is that many of the second and third bedrooms are actually lofts that are open to the living areas below.
Both of the three bedroom apartments have lofts, while the two bedroom apartments feature either a loft-style bedding configuration, or a combination of a studio and a one bedroom apartment.
The apartments with lofts do provide a great benefit though – the high ceilings and large picture windows make the living areas feel spacious.
And the views from some of the south-facing apartments are wonderful on clear days.
Who should stay here
Families who don’t need a ton of space and couples who want to be close to all the action in Hirafu.
