SCOUT REVIEW
Polaris Lodge is well situated in the heart of the Kimberley Alpine Ski Resort with the North Star Hill ski lift right next door. The ski-in, ski-out position makes it ideal for skiers wanting to hit the slopes bright and early.
The lodge features both self-contained condos and standard hotel rooms so you can choose the style of stay to suit you. Even if you choose a self-catered stay, you still have access to the lodge facilities and those at Trickle Creek Lodge. Make yourself at home, with each unit featuring fireplaces and LCD televisions. Your bed comes with down comforters, and all rooms are furnished with double sofa beds. Rooms have private balconies, and private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations feature deep soaking bathtubs and complimentary toiletries. The larger two and three bedroom units are ideal for groups and families, and even come with private washer and dryer, however, there are no twin bed options in any of the bedrooms (only king or queen beds). Daily housekeeping is provided.
There are plenty of winter activities available around the lodge, and there is even a heated pool and hot tub with great views waiting for you when you return from the slopes. The Stemwinder bar and grill is a top choice for dinner with the family, or for a few après drinks.
The Polaris Lodge is a fantastic choice for families in Kimberley, offering easy slopeside access and comfortable well-equipped units.
