- Rooftop terrace with 180 degree views of Aspen Mountain.
- Seamless shuttle service, from airport pick-ups to mountain and in-town transportation.
Scout tips
- Room levels are based on view - the compact rooms offer no real view at lower levels with a lightwell instead of windows, but the larger suites overlook the town or slopes.
- Great connecting rooms options to make larger 2 bedroom suites.
- Be sure to reserve your spot at the rooftop bar - a laid-back pool bar by day, intimate lounge by night.
SCOUT REVIEW
The classic Molly Gibson Lodge we know and love has undergone a superb makeover (or in Aspen terms, a facelift). And we're absolutely loving it. Stylish yet simple, the new MOLLIE Aspen still maintains that understated chic feel throughout but with an added level of luxury. For those who seek a modern retreat in the sometimes overbearing Aspen scene, the MOLLIE offers a timeless boutique hotel experience.
The first thing we love about the MOLLIE Aspen is the new subtle Japanese and Scandinavian ("Japandi" if you will) design throughout the hotel. It's teamed up with welcoming earthy tones and alternating light and dark furnishings which envokes an over-whelming sense of quiet and calm. The open-plan lobby, bar and restaurant, cafe and lounge area provides a warm and wonderful space for guests to mingle - whether it's grabbing a coffee and pastry before hitting the slopes, or enjoying a classic cocktail for après to celebrate those powder turns.
The 'Japandi' style flows through into the 68 rooms and suites at the hotel. The ground floor Cozy and Snug Rooms are aptly named, an intimate stays for those who pack light or will be spending majority of their stay on the slopes (or about town). Scout tip - these rooms are located below ground level, so feature lightwells in place of windows. Smuggler rooms offer lots of space, natural light and overlook Main Street, while Aspen Rooms boast views of the Ajax Mountain with a balcony and can interconnect with other Aspen Rooms for small families or groups. We love the Park View Rooms, particularly for the fact you can connect these with larger suite rooms (such as the Mollie Suite or Shadow Mountain Junior Suite), opening up a 2 bedroom space for families and featuring a wet bar and terrace. No matter what room you choose, you can be sure that every detail has been thoughtfully designed.
Whilst staying at MOLLIE Aspen, guests are located only 10-15 minutes' walk from the Aspen Mountain gondola but the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service between the airport, the other mountain areas, and around town. Fuel up for the day at the on-site cafe, featuring small batch coffee and tasty snacks, or sit down for a lazy brunch at the restaurant or roof-top terrace. If you fancy heading out for dinner after the après offering, there are a number of restaurants situated on your doorstep, and the huge variety of Aspen restaurants and bars are all located within a 15 minute walk. You can also stay in and enjoy a hearty dinner - the large seasonal plates are a major drawcard - or finish off your day with a classic nightcap overlooking the sparkling Aspen area. The MOLLIE boasts rooptop spa pool, daily morning yoga, a retail boutique and ski storage.
MOLLIE Aspen is a pet-friendly hotel so you can bring along your four-legged friends knowing they are in good company. For those seeking a little relaxation and respite after a (hopefully) amazing day on the slopes, the new MOLLIE Aspen is the perfect destination.
