SCOUT REVIEW
Located in a fantastic ski-in ski-out position at Fernie Alpine Resort, Lizard Creek Lodge is right next to the Elk Quad, and just a short walk across the slopes to the main village area.
Lizard Creek Lodge is composed of a main lodge and two buildings. The Main Lodge houses all the amenities and serves as the center of the complex, while the two buildings houses more condos. Scout recommends that you book a condo in one of its exterior buildings as they are more spacious than the ones in the main lodge, unless you want to be close to the amenities which make the main lodge condo a favorable choice.
Lizard Creek offers over 100 condos with a variety of options ranging from a studio, one, two and three bedroom condos. They’re all decorated in a Southwestern style, are very spacious, well-maintained and clean. All the condos feature a gas fireplace, a full-gourmet kitchen, updated beddings, and a private balcony. In addition, the condos located on the exterior buildings have their own washer and dryer, while laundry facilities are located in the Main Lodge. Many of the units have stunning views of the mountains, while the others have views of the woods or other condo buildings.
The lobby lounge area of Lizard Creek doubles as its on-site restaurant. Cirque Restaurant offers find dining in a casual mountain environment, as well as casual seating around the big fireplace. Additional facilities at Lizard Creek Lodge include an outdoor pool and hot tub (in each building), a very good gym, and a spa which offers numerous treatments including facials, manicure and pedicure, and a variety of massages.
Lizard Creek Lodge offers great accommodations in a fantastic location. Being the only full-service property in Fernie, it has all the features you need for a relaxing ski vacation.
