SCOUT REVIEW
Boasting all the charm of a large mountain chalet, Le Blizzard is a wonderful family-owned hotel located at the foot of the slopes of Val d'Isere. For those seeking genuine mountain hospitality and a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout, Le Blizzard is the perfect choice.
Le Blizzard boasts 70 rooms and suites, each tastefully styled with wood and stone that adds to the authentic European mountain vibe throughout. The rooms at Le Blizzard are perfect for couples and families and offer something for everyone - from cosy love nests to large family spaces. Standard rooms are comfortable for a shorter stay, featuring a queen bed (or twins), a small desk space and ensuite, plus balcony. Upgrading to Deluxe rooms are recommended, as they offer a bit more space to spread out and a cute cosy corner living area, and have either village or mountain views. The Suites are great for families and groups, with each suite unique and offering multiple bedding arrangements to suit any needs. Each Suite has a wood-burning fireplace, corner living area to relax in, deluxe bathroom with soaker tub, and balcony with mountain or village views. Scout loves that these rooms can be interconnected with Deluxe rooms, providing endless layouts for families. Le Blizzard also has two bedroom suites (village or mountain view) that provide the perfect home away from home for families, sleeping up to 6 guests.
Enjoy great on-site facilities at Le Blizzard, including heated swimming pool, sauna, and hot tubs, plus a well equipped fitness centre with yoga and pilates lessons. The Blizzard Restaurant boasts straight-from-the-market cuisine while La Luge is the best place to savour local specialities. Famous for its ambiance, the Lounge Bar at the hotel is the ideal spot for drinks with friends around the fireplace.
Located at the base of the ski slopes, just across from the Olympic Bellevard downhill, Le Blizzard is the perfect choice for families looking for easy access to the slopes and resort amenities each morning.
