SCOUT REVIEW
The Lake Louise Inn offers fantastic hotel rooms and condos in a beautiful forested setting, and close to the Lake Louise village. For those seeking good value self-contained accommodation and hotel-style lodging with great on-site facilities, this is a top choice!
There is a great range of room options to choose from at the Lake Louise Inn, spread across 5 lodges. The Standard and Deluxe rooms are ideal for small families, couples and solo skiers, offering cosy and comfortable rooms, basic amenities, and flexible bedding options (doubles, queens, and kings). The Junior Suite, one, and two bedroom suites boast additional space to spread out and a kitchen (stove, toaster oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and toaster) for a self-catered stay. The two bedroom suite also features twin beds in the second bedroom, popular among families, and these larger units have a gas fireplace in the lounge and sleeper sofa for extra guests. Some of the units and hotel rooms have been updated with a fresh new look, and definitely worth the upgrade to deluxe level rooms for those seeking a more modern stay.
The hotel rooms are located in a number of separate lodges, spread out across the property, each with varying proximity to the hotel facilities. One thing to note; the rooms located in the Pinery building face an external corridoor and require a three-story walk-up as there is no elevator available.
Lake Louise Inn boasts some fantastic on-site facilities for families including a great indoor heated pool and whirlpool hot tubs, board game rentals, 24 hour fitness centre, and complimentary snowshoe rentals. The hotel provides a shuttle to the Lake Louise Ski Resort area so hitting the slopes is easy each day, and it is only a 5 minute stroll to the local village where you can find a grocery store, bakery and deli, post office, and speciality shops.
For après, guests can't go past the Great Canadian Gazebo, offering a variety of hot and cold beverages (including hot chocolate and s'mores for the kids) and a chance to mingle with like-minded skiers. Lake Louise Inn also offers a top spot for a hearty breakfast; the Legend Restaurant is the place to fuel up before hitting the slopes. Also on-site is the Timberwolf Pizza and Pasta Cafe (a hit with families), and the Explorers Lounge, which provided pub-style meals, weekly specials and cold beer on tap. Karaoke night on Wednesdays is sure to bring some laughs too.
Lake Louise Inn is a wonderful hotel option for families in Lake Louise, boasting spacious and comfortable rooms and suites, and top-notch facilities for a fun ski vacation.
