SCOUT REVIEW
Hotel Tannbergerhof was established in Lech more than 80 years ago and is known for its fantastic location and bars. If you want to be right in the center of the action in Lech, Hotel Tannbergerhof is a great option. It is a no-frills 4 star hotel that has a very simple chalet style design both in its interior and exterior. Tannbergerhof exudes a homey and laid back atmosphere, though its three bars are anything but laid back. They’re some of Lech’s most popular après spots with live music most afternoons.
Hotel Tannbergerhof has adequate size rooms ranging from double standard to suite deluxe. The rooms are fairly simple in their furnishings, and are done in a modern Austrian style. Complimentary fruits and water are served daily. The superior suites have two beds and the suite deluxe rooms have sleeping sofas, which is ideal for guests with kids. Because the hotel is right in the center of town and along the main road, the rooms in front, especially those in the lower floors, tend to be a little noisy but they have great views of the ski slopes.
Although you are just a few steps away from superb restaurants in Lech, the hotel’s restaurant can hold its own with its delightful Vorarlberg region specialties and Austrian dishes. A hearty buffet breakfast awaits you and if the half-board includes a 5-course dinner. If you love to party or enjoy a drink or two, this hotel is a perfect choice. The hotel’s après ski Eisbar located outdoors is one of the most popular bars in Lech. It is in a perfect location, serves good drinks and food, and has a fantastic view. It is ideal for skiers winding down after a day of skiing. You can also enjoy drinks and live music inside as the hotel has two other bars where you can relax, have a drink, and listen to live music, or if you feel like grooving, dance the night away.
Hotel Tannbergerhof has a fairly small wellness area which features an infrared saunarium, scented steam bath, grotto, and a sauna with color-light therapy. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to Hotel Hilde if you wish to use a swimming pool.
Who should stay here
Hotel Tannbergerhof will appeal to families, young couples or group of friends who aren't too fussy and especially those who want to be right in the heart of the town.
