SCOUT REVIEW
Ski-in ski-out homes in Niseko are almost non-existent and when they do exist they are extremely expensive. Therefore, the Gondola Chalets which are just 100 m from the base of the Hirafu Gondola are the next best thing. For large family groups looking to be as close as possible to the lifts these 3-5 bedroom townhouses are the perfect solution.
They’re simple but spacious, comfortable and have everything you need to make this your home away from home in Niseko. They’re not overly luxurious and some of the furnishings and finishes can look a bit dated (especially the bed spreads) but what matters here is space, comfort and convenience.
We love the layout of the Gondola Chalets, particularly the huge living areas of the four and five-bedroom town homes. They have a couple of different sections and plenty of comfortable couches that make them perfect for large groups with kids and parents that want their own space. That said, the extra living space seems to have been taken from the dining and kitchen, which are cramped together.
Who should stay here
Gondola Chalets in Niseko are perfect for large family groups that want comfort and proximity to the Hirafu Gondola and ski school.
Location
Gondola Chalets in Niseko are located just down the hill from the Hirafu Gondola and Go Snow ski school. They are about a 5-10 minute walk to all the restaurants and bars in central Hirafu village.
