SCOUT REVIEW
The Fresh Powder Apartments are located literally opposite from Furano Ski Resort's Kitanomine gondola station, ski school and ski slopes. The apartments have a very friendly, bright and homey atmosphere and are all in pristine condition.
The apartment units range from a Studio, One-Bedroom, Two-Bedroom and Three-Bedroom units that are all spacious, have big windows, and are fully equipped. All the units feature king split beds, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facility, a toilet and bathroom equipped with a jetted bathtub, internet access, telephone line, and TV with 22 English channels that would delight the kids as it also has an English cartoon channel. Not all the units have great views however those units without views are actually bigger. Some of the units do feature gas fireplaces.
Scout loves the units with the views of the ski slopes - particularly at night when there’s night skiing, although there will be times that the endless snow fall can hinder you from enjoying the views. Scout also recommends the One-Bedroom suite located at the ground floor which features a Japanese soak bath.
The best thing about these units is that you can whip up a good meal at any time of the day or night because all the apartments are kitted out with the latest kitchen appliances and equipment. You can stay for more than a week and won’t miss home!
In addition to the slopeside apartments, Fresh Powder also has a stand alone chalet with five bedrooms. It is just minutes walk to the town and five minutes walk to the gondola. Ski gear can be left at the apartments across from the gondola.
Who should stay here
Great for families particularly those with kids who are attending the ski school. It is also ideal for those who want to stay longer and desire self-catered facilities.
Location
Fresh Powder Apartments is located right across the Kitanomine gondola station, ski school and ski slopes in the Kitanomine town area.
