Scout tips
- Though slope-side, quietude depends a bit—request units away from common areas if you’re noise-sensitive.
- There is ongoing construction adjacent to the property—expect some impact (noise, visual) depending on season/location of your unit.
- Units vary since they are condo-style: finishes, layout, views all differ—check photos and exact unit features.
- Pricing tends high (luxury market), especially for 2-3 bedroom residences, so budget accordingly. Minimum stays may apply.
SCOUT REVIEW
Electric Pass Lodge is a relatively new development in Snowmass Base Village that combines high design, modern sustainability, and first-rate location. Designed with net-zero / all-electric goals, this property is notable among mountain lodgings for minimizing environmental footprint while maximizing comfort.
The residences are built with Scandinavian design sensibilities—clean lines, warm woods, muted tones and lots of natural light through large windows or sliding glass doors. You’re getting thoughtful touches: fully equipped gourmet kitchens, fireplaces (often Opti-Myst style), in-unit washer/dryers, high-end appliances like Bosch, premium bathrooms (e.g. Waterworks brand in many units) and comfortable furniture and fixtures.
From a skier’s standpoint, Electric Pass Lodge checks many boxes. The ski-in / ski-out access is genuine—just steps from the slopes of Snowmass Base Village. Ski lockers are on the property so you can store gear easily. After skiing, the saltwater outdoor pool (25-yard lap pool with a slide), hot tub, and spa-pool options offer solid options for post-ski recovery. The fitness facility nearby (in One Snowmass East) adds more wellness value.
The lodge feels polished but welcoming—sophisticated rather than ostentatious. It’s well suited for families, groups, or anyone who wants more space than a hotel room, plus the flexibility of condo life without sacrificing luxury. Being in Base Village means dining, shops, après-ski, and summer/fall activities are all within easy reach.
Who should stay here
Electric Pass Lodge is ideal for eco-aware travelers, families or groups needing multiple bedrooms, people who value space and modern amenities, and those who want slope-side convenience without giving up style. Also good for longer stays or mixed winter/summer visits since the condos feel like homes.
Location
Electric Pass Lodge is located in Snowmass Base Village, right at the base of the Snowmass ski area. You can ski in / ski out, and the residences sit steps from village-level dining, retail, and recreation facilities. Undergound parking is available, as are ski lockers and access to fitness at nearby One Snowmass East. Note: construction is currently underway nearby, which may affect views or noise depending where your unit is situated.
