Scout tips
- The hotel is located around 15 minutes' walk from the main Park City Mountain Resort, however there is a free bus stop just outside and a hotel shuttle service

SCOUT REVIEW
Recently renovated, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Park City offers modern hotel rooms, friendly staff and a range of on-site facilities to ensure you have a relaxing stay with all the comforts and conveniences taken care of. As you walk into the stylish lobby you will be welcomed by the front desk team with a warm chocolate chip cookie - what a way to start your stay! Scout loves the repurposed bike parts as the lobby chandeliers, and climbing ropes as additional decor (a wonderful ode to the famed Utah outdoor lifestyle).
Each of the hotel rooms at the DoubleTree are spacious and well-equipped (although some rooms, depending on their location in the hotel, may be a little dark). The rooms feature large king beds (or two queens), modern ensuite bathrooms, flatscreen TVs and desks. Some rooms also include a small lounge area while others have kitchenette facilities with basic cooking essential. This kitchen equipment gives you the option of having some simple, self-catered meals without having to opt for full condo style accommodation. The addition of updated bedding and furnishings gives the rooms a modern forest feel. Some suites feature a fireplace to cosy up around each evening, and the Junior suite is a good option for those seeking a bit more room to spread out.
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Park City offers year-round pool and hot tub facilities so you can take in the alpine views while relaxing in the warm waters. There is also a fitness center on site, a Resort Activity Desk, and a small games room to keep the kids entertained. the outside of the DoubleTree is somewhat dated, with a motel-esque feel, however, the recent interior upgrades more than make up for it. Its location within Park City just off a major street means views are rather limited to overlooking the pool area or parking lot, but it's an ideal option for those who will be spending the majority of their time on the slopes or downtown.
For those who wish to dine on site, there is the Roots Grill with a decent menu, and a small cafe offers up a great brew to start your day!
The DoubleTree by Hilton is a fantastic Park City lodging option for families, couples, and solo skiers who plan to spend the most of their trip on the slopes or hitting the town at night. It's easy access to downtown and the ski resort via the hotel and public shuttle makes it a popular choice among the budget-conscious travellers.

Park City is also famous for hosting a third of the events during the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, as well as the annual Sundance Film Festival that sees the town bursting at the seams while the well-heeled and famous party. When a gondola was built connecting neighbouring Canyons resort to Park City Resort the area became one and the name Canyons was eventually dropped. Park City Mountain now offers a mammoth amount of terrain to explore (with two village bases - Mountain Village and Canyons Village), exceptional facilities for families, and lodging options to suit all budgets.
