- Breckenridge is located at around 10,000ft so you may want to add a couple of days to acclimatise if you're not used to this altitude

- There are two sets of elevators, one for floors 1-6 and another for 7+. The one for the higher floors is located far away from the lobby.
SCOUT REVIEW
The Hilton DoubleTree name precedes most people's experiences at this hotel but the staff certainly live up to the expectations. From the valet team to the front desk and everyone else you encounter during your stay you're sure to be happy with the service.
The location of the DoubleTree is fantastic, close to both the QuickSilver and Beaver Run Chair Lifts as well as being near to all the amenities of Main St. Therefore, pretty much everything you need is on your doorstep. If you do want to venture out, you can use the on-demand shuttle service or have the helpful valet team have your car ready for your departure.
The DoubleTree offers guest rooms with a range of bedding options to suit both couples and families. These rooms have all the standard hotel facilities you would expect including HDTVs, complimentary toiletries, mini fridges and wifi. The decor is modern mountain throughout, with crisp white linen and grey hues. There are a lot of options to choose from, with many room that interconnect and ideal for families. Some of the rooms boast lovely alpine views (these must be requested).
The DoubleTree at Breckenridge has been renovated from an old hotel so there are some aspects of the property that may seem a little strange. Most rooms do not have an in-built air-conditioning unit (although the team are happy to provide portable AC); the elevators serve two different sections of the hotel and can be a bit confusing and some of the corridors are somewhat maze-like! However, thanks to the impeccable service it is easy to overlook these minor issues.
It would be amiss not to mention the delicious breakfast that is served daily in the downstairs restaurant. There are a huge range of options included made-to-order eggs, waffles and omelettes. Plus the team offer cookies and s'mores as little extras throughout the day too!
The DoubleTree hotel in Breckenridge is also fully accessible so all rooms, wellness facilities and hotel amenities can be used by wheelchair users.
