SCOUT REVIEW
Club Med Kiroro Grand brings the brand’s signature blend of high-end comfort and carefree fun to one of Japan’s most underrated ski areas. Located in Kiroro, Hokkaido — renowned for its deep, dry powder and uncrowded terrain — this resort makes it effortless to enjoy the snow from the moment you wake up. The ski-in ski-out access means you can clip in and hit the lifts directly from the property, whether you’re chasing first tracks or heading back for lunch.
The design is modern alpine, with warm wood tones, large windows, and cozy communal spaces. True to the Club Med style, it’s a social and lively place, with nightly entertainment, themed dinners, and après-ski activities that range from sake tastings to yoga.
Dining is a highlight — think fresh seafood buffets, Japanese and international cuisine, and endless desserts. The all-inclusive format covers meals, bar drinks, and most activities, making it ideal for travelers who prefer a seamless experience. Families are particularly well-catered for, with professional childcare, kids’ clubs, and family-friendly ski lessons.
The resort’s onsen facilities are a real treat after a day on the slopes — especially the outdoor baths where you can soak while snow falls around you. Rooms are contemporary, spacious, and comfortable, many with panoramic mountain views.
Club Med Kiroro Grand complements its sister property, Club Med Kiroro Peak, which caters to adults only, allowing guests to choose between two distinct vibes while sharing the same exceptional snow. Together, they make Kiroro one of Hokkaido’s most comprehensive ski destinations.
