SCOUT REVIEW
Chill Madarao is one of the best-located western lodges in the Madarao ski resort, with slopeside access to the slopes. As the property was built in the 70s it is situated in prime position right next to the lifts. Thankfully, Chill Madarao has undergone recent renovations so there is no 70s styling here! Chill Madarao has been completely refurbished by an Australian couple with simple, clean furnishings throughout and modern touches like smart TVs with Netflix and free WiFi throughout.
Chill Madarao is a boutique hotel in that it only has seven rooms so the staff get to know you as if you are friends and all of the rooms feature amazing views.
Not only are the rooms clean and comfortable, but the on-site facilities are great too. Chill Madarao boasts on-site, quality ski and board rentals with excellent staff on hand to help you throughout your stay. Chill also features a bar/restaurant which serves up delicious coffee, great-value meals and snacks and some of the best cocktails and apres scene on the mountain. It has a nice lounge area which is perfect for hanging out in and getting to know other guests.
Chill Madarao offers standard king rooms as well as deluxe suites which are perfect for families as they can sleep up to six guests using a range of bedding options.
All rooms at Chill Madarao feature wonderful mountain views and guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel to get them ready for a day on the slopes.
Who should stay here
Chill Madarao is ideal for families and groups of young people wanting simple ski accommodation right on the slopes with a bar and restaurant on site for added convenience.
Location
Chill Madarao is situated right next to the ski slopes and in a convenient location closer to the main hotel and a few other restaurants. This is great if you want to frequently use the hotel's onsen. Guests can even sit overlooking the ski lift while they have breakfast getting them excited for a day on the powder!
