Chateau Jasper is located on the edge of the main town, around 1km from the bars, restaurants and shops of downtown Jasper. It offers a great range of accommodation options and on-site amenities for families on a ski vacation to Marmot Basin. The hotel has undergone a recent renovation so is a great option when choosing where to stay in Jasper.
The rooms at Chateau Jasper are all fairly large by local standards, perfect for having space to relax while also storing your ski equipment and luggage. Choose from standard, family rooms and suites to suit your group. The Family guest rooms offer two queen beds plus an additional pull out couch, ideal for small families. The Executive Suites boast more space (if you need it!), fantastic views, and the king room even features a large soaking tub. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a fresh alpine feel throughout, and although not ultra modern, they're super comfortable.
Facilities at Chateau Jasper include an indoor pool and hot tub, and of course, being a great accommodation option for skiers in Jasper, the hotel offers a seasonal ski shuttle service to the Marmot Basin ski slopes. There are no restaurants on-site, however, the Lobstick Lodge next door boasts the Crazy Elk Cafe (THE spot for a lazy breakfast), and Seasons Dining Room. Treatements at the Mountain Wellness Day Spa can also be booked by guests of Chateau Jasper.

Location
Chateau Jasper is a great ski accommodation option, perched on the edge of downtown Jasper it is a good 10-15 minute flat walk to most of the main bars and restaurants in town. It is a 20 minute bus ride to Marmot basin ski resort and a shuttle bus leaves from outside the hotel. Having your own car with give you a bit more flexibility.

About Marmot Basin
Marmot Basin, located in the stunning Jasper National Park, is a fantastic and affordable option for individuals and families in Canada. The resort is a little smaller than others in the Alberta region, however don't let this dissuade you - Marmot boasts a great variety of terrain, relaxed and friendly mountain atmosphere, uncrowded slopes, and virtually no lift lines (what we like to hear!). Enjoy long groomed runs, open alpine bowls, and memorable tree skiing during the day, and an authentic Canadian Rockies mountain village feel at night in the nearby town of Jasper. It's a small town feeling with world class facilities and skiing which has us dreaming of heading back to Marmot Basin!
