SCOUT REVIEW
The new, stylish ArtHouse Apartments are a wonderful option for those who want modern, self-catered ski accommodation in a quiet part of Furano. Located in the Shimogoryo district near Furano Delice, the ArtHouse Apartments are great for couples or small families. The area offers a good balance of being quite quiet but with decent local amenities so you can choose to enjoy the buzz of the surroundings as much or as little as you want.
There are two different apartment styles to choose from: one-bedroom units and two-bedroom properties. Each has been designed to be a bright, modern space, but as every apartment is individually owned the styles may vary. The condos feature double or twin beds, have ensuite bathrooms and open-plan living/kitchen areas in which to enjoy family dining and chill-out time. Apartments will be equipped with kitchenette facilities which include a fridge/freezer, microwave, stovetop, sink and dishwasher.
The apartments each boast a private car-parking space. Due to the location we would reccomend having your own car as there is no shuttle service to get to the slopes and it is a decent walk, particularly in ski boots. Local restaurants and bars are within walking distance - it is about a 15 minute walk to the main part of the village.
Who should stay here
ArtHouse Apartments are a great choice for couples and small families who want modern, self-catered ski accommodation in a quiet part of Furano.
Location
The Furano ArtHouse Apartments are located in the Shimogoryo part of Kitanomine Village, about 15 minutes walk from the main part of the village. It is possible to ski down to the Furano Prince Hotel and walk from there, however that is still a 7-10 minute walk. Therefore we reccomend having your own vehicle as there is no shuttle service to this area.
