Epic Pass vs Mountain Collective

The infographic below was published in September 2014. Since then both the Epic Pass and Mountain Collective have added and subtracted destinations and made various changes. Here is a brief outline of how the two passes stand up as of August 10, 2016:

Full Epic Pass

  • US Resorts: Unlimited access to Vail, Beaver Creek. Breckenridge, Keystone, Pack City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Wilmot, Afton Alps, Mt Brighton, Perisher (Australia 2017 access) and Arapahoe Basin. It includes 6 Ski With A Friend discount tickets and other benefits at the resorts. Although Vail Resorts has purchased Whistler Blackcomb, it will not be included in the Epic Pass until the 17/18 season.
  • European Resorts: France (3 Vallees, Paradiski, Tignes Val-d'Isere) 6 days of free skiing with 2 at each resort area. Austria (Arlberg) 3 days of free skiing. Italy (Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta) 3 days of free skiing. Switzerland (4 Vallees) 5 consecutive days of free skiing.
  • There are various other versions of the Epic Pass (such as Epic Local) that have restrictions and are priced lowe
  • Price: (as of Aug 10, 2016): USD$809 (adult) and $419 (child)
  • Get your Epic Pass today via Scout when purchasing a custom ski package for participating resorts

Mountain Collective

  • Resorts with 2 free days and 50% off additional days: Alta/Snowbird, Aspen Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Lake Louise/Shinshine Village, Mammoth, Revelstoke, Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows, Stowe, Sun Valley, Taos, Telluride, Whistler Blackcomb, Thredbo and Coronet Peak/Remarkables.
  • If you have a season pass to any of the resorts listed above, you can get 50% off window lift ticket prices, however you do NOT get the 2 free days (unless you have purchased a Mountain Collective Pass separately)
  • Resorts with 2 free days only: Valley Nevado, Hakuba Valley, Chamonix Mont-Blanc
  • Price (as of Aug 10, 2016): USD$409 and $99 (child 12 & under)
