Since its opening in 1949, Hotel Christiania has been an iconic hotel in the heart of Val d'Isere. Oozing with comfort and elegance, the hotel is renowned for its warm and welcoming (and refined) hospitality, making it one of the best hotels for families in France.
Boasting 69 rooms and suites, Hotel Christiania offers something for every solo skier, couple, and family. Each room is tastefully decorated in a classic French mountain style, boasting comfortable furnishings and ideal environments for a relaxing ski stay. There are multiple room types to choose from: the Standard rooms with luxurious king beds (or twins) are perfect for a shorter stay, while the Superior rooms offer more space to spread out and a terrace or balcony with South-facing views of the Vallee du Manchet or nearby ice rink. Some of these rooms also boast an additional cabin space with bunk beds for the kids. The hotel caters perfectly to families, offering a number of Family Suites that boast multiple bedrooms with a king bed and twin beds, a number of bathrooms, and wonderful views. Scout loves the variety of rooms, which means there is definitely something to suit families of all shapes and sizes.
