SCOUT REVIEW
Highlands Slopeside is, as the name suggests, a ski-in, ski-out property located on the slopes of Beaver Creek - some condos even have their own direct access to the slopes. This means you can be pretty much first on the slopes each morning.
Highlands Slopeside offers two and three-bedroom condos which are large, spacious and comfortable throughout. Most of these condos are split level so feature a master bedroom on one floor and further bedrooms and living areas on a different level. This allows for added privacy and a bit of peace and quiet in the evenings. Each condo has great storage, perfect for famlilies to keep all the ski gear in the one place, plus there are huge ski lockers (with boot racks) for each condo down in the ski locker room. With elegant decor throughout, most condos feature wood flooring, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, wood fireplace, washer & dryer, and a wonderful living and dining area to relax or entertain. The bathrooms are modern, and most of the master ensuite rooms feature a separate steam shower and soaker tub to soothe those tired skier legs. Each unit is individually owned so the decor can vary between them, however, if there is one you had your eye on, Scout can reserve a specific unit for your stay. Bedding also varies, with condos featuring generally a king bed in the master (with ensuite), and a range of queens, singles, and bunk bed options in the other bedrooms. Many of the higher condos boasts wonderful views of the ski runs, or down valley for those magestic Colorado sunsets.
Condos are available in a number of star ratings, each differing in decor and furnishings and view: 3 Star, 3.5 Star, 4 Star, & 4.5 Star. Upgrades are also available to condos with direct ski-in/ski-out access.
Although there are no bars or restaurants on-site at Highlands Slopeside, each unit has a full kitchen and a grocery delivery service is available to provide you with everything you need for a self-catered stay. For times when you want to eat out, you can walk down to Beaver Creek Village which is 5-10 minutes away or take the on-demand shuttle service. There is a hot tub and small fitness room available on site. The ski access is prime, with skiers able to hit the slopes directly from the ski locker room.
