SCOUT REVIEW
Bear Paw Lodge in Beaver Creek's Bachelor Gulch area offers spacious condo accommodation with an amazing ski-in, ski-out location. Not only does the accommodation boast a mountainside locale, but it offers three hot tubs and an outdoor pool on-site so you can really make the most of these incredible views. These wellness facilities are in addition to the pool and hot tub amenities at The Ritz Carlton, just down the hill, which you can access by being a guest of Bear Paw.
The accommodation at Bear Paw includes condos and townhouses which range from two to four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 guests. Although bedding varies depending on the unit they generally feature king, queen, twin and bunk rooms. All units also feature an open-plan kitchen, living and dining room, in-condo washer/dryers, one underground parking space, private ski lockers and complimentary wifi. Most condos also feature a balcony with bbq grill for families to enjoy. Scout loves the exposed wooden beams, roaring fireplaces, and the warm mountain cabin feel to the condos. Views can vary between units based on their location; generally the even numbered units have valley views, while odd numbered face the mountain. Housekeeping is provided, however, it's only one mid-week clean per stay.
Although it is a condo style property, Bear Paw Lodge has a front desk with excellent staff as well as concierge, shuttle and housekeeping services. The staff will be happy to assist you with anything you need during your stay. The lodge itself has a great lobby with fireplace, an ideal spot for families to relax or to read a book.
The ski lockers are located super close to the slopes, making it stress-free each morning. Bear Paw Lodge is situated with access to the Springtooth and Cabin Fever runs (which are beginner runs). The Beaver Creek Dial-a-ride service provides a convenient way to access the rest of the Beaver Creek resort area with ease.
Bear Paw provides family-friendly condos in Beaver Creek's Bachelor Gulch area, perfect for those wanting ski-in/ski-out access and self-contained amenities. Bear Paw is a great choice for the more independant families.
