Home to great value lodging and lift tickets, plus plenty of non-ski activities to keep the little ones entertained. Not to mention, there is terrain to suit all ability levels, with every chairlift offering at least one green run so families can ski together throughout the day. A super cute and colourful base village also adds extra charm and fun to your ski vacation.

Lech
This charming village in the heart of Austria's Arlberg region is great for families to get a taste of European culture. With some lovely ski-in ski-out hotels, most of which serve half-board (makes it super convenient for families!), everthing here is pretty easy. The ski school is excellent and the slopes perfect for a family of varying abilities. The kids will just love the horse drawn sleigh ride too!

Aspen Snowmass
Aspen has a reputation of being a bit on the pricey side, however, Snowmass Mountain offers a great value ski vacations, particularly for families. Niseko
For first-timers to Japan, Niseko is by far the best ski resort for families. Not only do kids under seven ski free, but the easy-to-navigate resort area and abundance of self-contained apartments makes for a relaxed family ski vacation. Plus there are many off-snow activities for kids, easy access from Chitose Airport, and plenty of English-speaking services to get you by.
