SCOUT REVIEW
The thing Scout loves about See Forever is the choice between the two very different types of condos. Both are excellent, but are suited to two different types of people, so there is sure to be a perfect unit for your next Telluride ski vacation.
Let’s start with the Summit condos. These are high-end luxury condos that feature huge living areas with oversized couches, big dining tables and state-of-the-art kitchens. As if that weren’t grand enough, the floor-to-ceiling windows provide wrap-around views of the mountain ranges and the St Sophia ridgeline. (Views will vary from condo to condo, but they’re all pretty spectacular). The Summit condos are suited to families who want the best, and need a lot of space.
And then there are the Log Cabins. These are free-standing cabins that are nestled into the mountainside between the condo building and the Peaks Hotel. They don’t have such impressive views (although some do offer mountain/valley glimpses) but they’re cute as hell, and offer a little solitude for groups.
Each cabin varies in size and layout – the three bedroom cabins, for instance, have a smaller living area, while the five bedroom cabin provides plenty of room for a family or a group of friends – and also includes a media room. The condos are individually owned, and so are furnished according to different tastes. But generally they fall into the modern mountain or rustic mountain theme. All are consistently cozy and neat, and will make you feel like you’re coming home to your own private mountain hideaway. They would be a great choice for those who feel more at home in a more rustic, laid-back environment.
While there aren’t any extra on-site facilities, all guests have access to those at The Peaks hotel, which is just across the road. Facilities include a huge gym, spa, pools, fantastic restaurant and bar for après, and ski valet.
Overall, the See Forever cabins and condos are a perfect Telluride lodging option for families who like to be located on-mountain, close to the resort facilities and chairlifts, but with a hint of solitude.
Who should stay here
The Summit residences/condos at See Forever are for families seeking a high-end ski village escape, and who need a lot of space. The cabins, meanwhile, would be perfect for those wanting to feel right at home in the mountains.
Location
Located on the outer edge of Telluride’s Mountain Village, the See Forever condo complex is spread between two buildings, while the cabins are nestled below the buildings. The Mountain Village is a 13 minute free gondola ride to Telluride town.

About Telluride
Telluride is a spectacular resort in the heart of Colorado’s San Juan mountains. Getting there is half the fun – the scenic drive from Gunnison or Durango is topped off with an even more picturesque main street. Rarely are ski resorts as pretty as they are challenging, with a nightlife as exciting as it is laid-back, and with accommodation that ranges from ultimate luxury to great budget hotels. Telluride is the complete package and Scout adores it.
