The dorm rooms at Alta Lodge can usually accommodate up to four guests in single bunk beds. Each room has ski storage space, drawers, towels and linens and an in-room sink. Dorm guests have access to a shared bathroom which is located just steps away from the bedroom itself. All dorms are male only or female only. 

The original lodge rooms are the classic rooms in Alta Lodge and can accommodate up to two guests in either a double or two single beds. These rooms may or may not have a private bathroom attached but all features comfortable bedding, storage space, towels and linens and an in-room sink.

The standard rooms at Alta Lodge are simple and comfortable and may include a king, two doubles or two single beds. They can therefore accommodate between two and four guests. Each room features plush bedding, a clean ensuite bathroom, plenty of space for ski gear storage (including boot dryers) and a small desk and seating area. Thanks to the lodge's slopeside location, most rooms boast alpine views but you can choose to upgrade to a guaranteed slope-facing view.

The corner rooms at Alta Lodge are great for those who want a little extra space and who want to make the most of the alpine views! These rooms offer a range of bedding to suit your group which may include a king, twins, or even a queen, double and a sleeper sofa. The corner king rooms may also boast a fireplace and/or balcony so you can enjoy additional extras to add to your stay. Each corner room has an ensuite bathroom and wonderful mountain vistas.

The Swiss Rooms make for a great family option as they offer a suite style room. The suite comprises of a master king bedroom with a small seating area; an ensuite bathroom and an additional sleeping nook with an extra double bed. This allows for a bit of extra privacy while still all being together.

The Tyrol Room is a suite that is best suited to couples. Although it can accommodate up to four guests (in a queen and sleeper sofa) Scout recommends it for couples who want extra space to relax. The master room features a comfortable queen size bed, a cozy lounge area, an ensuite, desk and plenty of storage space. These rooms also boast wonderful mountain views.
