Shiro Nozawa offers fantastic luxury apartments right in the heart of Nozawa Onsen village. Renovated from a traditional Japanese ryokan, Shiro perfectly blends East and West design throughout, alongside modern facilities.
The apartments at Shiro are stylish and chic, with a strong western-style influence and plenty of luxury. The old charm of the building has been retained with plenty of wood accents. There is a combination of one, two and three bedroom apartments, each fully self contained with kitchen and living spaces, flexible bedding for families, and deluxe bathrooms. Many of the apartments feature a private onsen, a rarity within apartments in Nozawa Onsen. Scout loves the western style bedrooms, and the hanging space available in the entryway of each apartment (big enough to fit everyone's ski gear!). Some of the apartments have a smaller living space due to the layout, while others have quite spacious areas. Scout can help with selecting the right apartment for you.
Shiro boasts an on-site onsen for guests to use, plus a cute foot onsen at the cafe; a great spot to sit and relax with a cup of tea or warm cocoa. The apartments are located in the centre of town on one of the most picturesque streets in the village. The Yu-Road travelator which takes you up to Hikage Gondola is located a short 5 minute walk away. Many great local restaurants are situated nearby.

Location
Shiro Nozawa is located in the old part of Nozawa Onsen village. It is about a 5-minute walk to Yu-Road, the moving escallator that takes you to the Hikage base area. If you are arriving by bus, they do not offer a pick-up service from the bus station and it is about a 5-7 minute walk from the final stop.
