SCOUT REVIEW

If you are looking for a simple, traditional style hotel Park Faloria Hotel makes a great option. Located on the outskirts of Cortina, it’s in a peaceful location and will exceed the expectations of many who come here.

Park Faloria has 30 rooms varying from classic hotel rooms through to suties. The classic rooms are a little bit small but the suites have separate living rooms and are large enough to accommodate four people. The rooms are finished with wood paneling and old style fabrics so it could feel a little dated to some, but it is still cozy and comfortable. Most of the rooms have balconies and the rooms on the first floor open up to the snow covered gardens. If you want views of the mountain, Scout suggests that you get the rooms in the upper floors facing the road.

The wellness center has a heated swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, Turkish bath, sauna, and a relaxation area. It also has treatment rooms for massage and Hatha Yoga classes are offered. The hotel looks after children well, especially with its Magadascar playroom for kids, open from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm. This can afford parents some “me” times. A coordinator is on hand to organize activities for children from 4 to 12 years old.  Après ski snacks for kids are served from 4:30pm till 5:3pm and kids also get 50% discount on dinners.

As Park Faloria is located out of town you’ll probably end up eating at the restaurant a couple of times… but it’s an elegant dining room and the traditional style dishes look delicious.

Hotel Park Faloria is a great play to stay in as long as you are not expecting five star facilities and amenities, and don’t mind being out of town.
