Minakami Hotel Juraku is a new Japanese hotel offering a choice of traditional Japanese-style rooms or western rooms along with great on-site amenities. The staff at Minakami Hotel Juraku are wecoming and friendly and will be on hand to help you with anything throughout your stay.
The Japanese rooms have futon beds, tatami mat flooring. The western rooms have western beds. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms and simple equipment like a kettle and TV (may not have English channels). Guests are provided with slippers and a hairdryer for added comfort and convenience.
One of the best things about Minakami Hotel Juraku is the hot spring baths and sauna which are the perfect place to relax after a day on the Minakami slopes. Guests can book in for a massage treatment or simply soak in the waters that come from the nearby natural hot springs.
Other features of the Minakami Hotel Juraku are a large (huge) buffet-style restaurant serving both breakfast and dinner, a free shuttle service from JR Minakami Station, on-site vending machine and small convenience store and even a karaoke bar.
Hotel Juraku is located at one end of Minakami's main street, so the restaurants and bars of Minakami village are all close by. Parking is available.

Just one hour from Tokyo by train, the Minakami area is an excellent destination for those wishing to have an off-the-beaten-path Japanese ski adventure. There are about a dozen small ski resorts within 20-90 minutes’ drive from Minakami village which makes it a great base from which to explore the area.
