Lagacio is a fantastic residence style hotel in San Cassiano which offers guests the privacy and luxury of self-contained apartments while also giving them access to a range of great on-site hotel-like facilities.
Lagacio was built in 2009 with a focus on the ecological and environmental sustainability of the building. the building is heated by underground thermals, wood was sourced locally and natural products are used in the cleaning of the apartments. If this isn't enough to make you feel good while staying there, the luxurious spa facilities certainly will. The spa at Lagacio is a place of peace and tranquillity with a steam room, sauna, hot tub and plenty of space to relax. The experience staff offer a range of massage and beauty treatments to help you unwind. Scout loves the relaxation area and the outside Finnish sauna. Private yoga classes are also on offer.
Each of the apartments comes with a kitchenette including a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and a Nespresso machine meaning you can create some delicious meals and refreshments. Each of the suites is named after a stone from the Dolomites. There are some great suites for families, which have a bunk cabin for the kids. The hotel provides a daily breakfast for those not wanting to eat in their rooms, with homemade preserves, fresh bread, local cheese, meat and eggs. In the village of San Cassiao there are a number of fine dining restaurants meaning you can enjoy quality cuisine right on your doorstep.

Lagacio is located in the village of San Cassiano which is a quiet village located near the slopes of Alta Badia ski resort. The hotel is 500 meters to the nearest lift, and offers a ski shuttle every half hour in the morning, and on request in the afternoon. It is easy to get taxis to take you into villages like Corvara (about 15 minutes drive).

About Alta Badia
Alta Badia is one of the best places to ski in the Dolomites. It has gentle slopes accessible from several villages (Corvara, Colfosco, San Cassiano and La Villa) and is a great base for exploring the Sella Ronda.
