Hotel Ketchum (not to be confused with Limelight Hotel Ketchum) is one of the latest of the dated motels to be done up in a cool, retro vibe - a trend which seems to be happening in ski resorts all over the States (and is a trend we love!). Loads of colour and fun will greet you in the lobby and the rooms have a more mountain retro styling. It's targeted at the younger audience but families and older generations will still fit right in.
Wake early to a complimentary breakfast served daily with a range of delicious cuisine from home-baked delicacies to fruit, yogurt, eggs and more. From here, make you way via bus or car to the ski area to unload your gear and begin your day on the slopes of Sun Valley. Once you return, slip out of your ski gear and into your swimwear to enjoy a few laps in the pool or simply soak in the hot tub before munching on some warm cookies or sipping on an apres ski beverage. Finally, dine out in one of the many surrounding restaurants before retiring to your room.
The rooms at Hotel Ketchum are particularly spacious and comfortable and offer plush bedding including Simmons mattresses and hypoallergenic pillows and comforters. The modern ensuite bathrooms are complete with towels, robes and C.O. Bigelow toiletries and walk-in showers. Rooms generally include one king or two queen beds and views may vary. Some rooms even boast balconies or fireplaces for an extra touch of luxury.
Due to the structure being an older motel, noise can travel between rooms and there are no elevators to get to the upper floors. The corridors are also outside.
Hotel Ketchum offers on-site parking, coin-operated laundry facilities, fitness centre and a ski shop. There are also plenty of areas to chill out and unwind, from the lobby to the lounge, bar and terrace.
For those seeking an affordable ski vacation in Sun Valley, Hotel Ketchum is a fantastic option in the heart of downtown. This means that although it is not within walking distance of the slopes, you are close to all the local amenities once you have returned from your day on the powder.

Hotel Ketchum is great for those seeking retro, comfortable accommodation in Ketchum within driving distance of the Sun Valley slopes. It best suits younger couples and small families thanks to the rooms accommodating between two and four guests.
