- The rooms are fairly bare, and some are small but everything else makes up for that
- There is no wellness center. There is a small sauna that can be rented privately for 45 mins. Hotel guests also get free access to the village Sports center with its swimming pools and wellness facilities.

Hotel Alpenruh is a charming little ski chalet hotel in the heart of Mürren that will have you longing to stay and live in the mountains!
Ferdinand, the hotel manager, and his team welcome you to Hotel Alpenruh with a cheery smile and are on hand throughout your stay to ensure you have everything you want and need for the perfect winter getaway.
While the rooms and decor of Hotel Alpenruh are fairly standard, the friendly staff, dedicated service, great on-site restaurant, sauna and epic mountain views more than make up for the simplicity. Most packages include breakfast and a set course dinner and we found the food to be of excellent quality. Hotel Alpenruh boasts panoramic views across Jungfrau, Eiger and Mönch which will leave you awestuck time and time again.
The hotel is ideally located right next to the cable car so you only have to walk a few seconds with your gear before heading up the mountain. At the end of the day you can ski to within meters of the ski locker room.
As we've come to expect with European ski hotels, the bedrooms are on the smaller side (compared to USA) but they are exceptionally clean and have excellent views from the private balconies.

Hotel Alpenruh is ideal for couples and families seeking a traditional ski chalet in the quiet town of Mürren that is located right next to the ski lifts.
Location
Hotel Alpenruh is ideally located in the heart of Mürren, just steps from the Shilthornbahn Tram station. Having the chair lifts on your doorstep means you can be on the slopes in no time. There hotel sits at the start of the main street with its small collection of shops and restaurants.
