SCOUT REVIEW
Chalet de Flore is a lovely traditional style hotel in great location, just a short walk to the main lifts and in the centre of the village. Originally built in the 60s, the chalet is homely and boasts authentic mountain hospitality one comes to expect from a boutique hotel in Verbier.
The hotel rooms at Chalet de Flore are nice and spacious, with either traditional or modern furnishings and decor. All feature accent of wood and plaid with a warm Swiss feel throughout. The South-facing rooms have valley and mountain views, while other rooms offer views of the surrounding village. All rooms have a balcony and bedding is flexible thoughout with twin options. The larger Altitude rooms are ideal for small families, as they boast a mezzanine space with beds for kids. Scout loves the larger windows in the South-facing rooms, allowing you to take it all in.
Chalet de Flore features great communal areas, including the comfy lounge area with great views and tea served each afternoon. Start each morning with a tasty buffet breakfast, and finish your day off right with live music and cocktails (or aperitif) at the bar. The hotel doesn't offer a dinner menu but you can grab a snack including charcuterie and cheese and homemade soup. There is no pool on site however guests can use the spa at Chalet le Adrien (about a 5 minute drive away)
The hotel is ideally located in the centre of town, with the closest chairlift a short walk up the hill. There is a hotel shuttle that can transport guests around the local village.
Chalet de Flore is a wonderful hotel for those seeking traditional chalet-style lodging in Verbier within close proximity to the slope and local village.
